It has an impressive Waldorf Restaurant with some really beautiful art deco touches and having had the pleasure of being onboard yesterday the CruiseDeals.co.uk team can recommend their lovely cuisine. All of the bread is baked onboard so it’s still warm when it reaches your table, the food is fantastic and there is so much to choose from…we wish we were going again today! For a more informal experience head to the stylish Marco’s Bistro.
Enjoy onboard entertainment in the Marco Polo Lounge on Magellan Deck. Fancy pre-dinner drinks? We recommend heading for the elegant Captain’s Club where you can sit back and relax while enjoying the resident pianist, or take full advantage of the wonderful panoramic ocean views from Palm Garden. And we must admit that the staff were fantastic – so friendly and accommodating. Do you remember Cheers on TV? Where everyone get’s to know you name…? Well the head barman will soon get to know you and your favourite drink – they really do offer exceptional service. For all you night owls out there you will love Scott’s Bar which is located on Amundsen Deck.
Cruise & Maritime have an amazing drinks package and at £17 per person per night it is definitely worth it. Ask our operators about booking this and if you want to book shore excursions we can help with that too.
Gratuities are charged at £5.00 per person per night and this will be debited to your onboard account which makes life so much easier.

This is the largest of the Isles of Scilly with a population of 1800. Hugh Town is the central hub and here you will find a range of shops, churches, cafes, galleries, restaurants and pubs and there is also a really wonderful museum. The coastline features dramatic rocky coves and amazing archaeological sites, beautiful walks and nature trails to enjoy. St. Mary’s is a hidden gem and there is so much to see and do.
St. Peter Port, Guernsey
The home of Castle Cornet, this pretty town is really lovely. Take a stroll along the cobbled streets, up steep stairways and winding alleyways to the picturesque seafront marina. You may enjoy wandering through Candie Gardens or take a look at the lovely boutiques and then relax with a coffee and watch the world go by.
Known as ‘the city of a hundred spires’ this wonderful old town is a maze of streets with beautifully restored buildings, a soaring Gothic cathedral, Notre Dame – not to be confused with the cathedral in Paris – and excellent museums. If you love food, art and architecture you will love Rouen.
