Bruges (Zeebrugge) Belgium
Famous for its chocolate and the most visited medieval city in the world, beautiful Bruges is a lovely way to spend your first day ashore. With its picturesque cobbled lanes, historic churches and old whitewashed almshouses there is plenty to see… oh, and if you are chocolate shopping we recommend you look out for the ‘handmade’ sign in the chocolatier’s windows as not all of the 50 chocolate shops stock their own sweets!
St. Peter Port, Guernsey
The harbour area is gorgeous, you could easily spend half a day taking in the beautiful scenery and looking at the fishing boats and yachts whilst stopping off at a cafe to sample the local cuisine. But, if you’re looking for an adventure we would recommend Castle Cornet or seeing Guernsey by bike.
