Next on your Electric Sunsets Cruise Back To The 90's itinerary is Zeebrugge.
It's worth pulling yourself away from the fun onboard to take a 15 minute train into the centre of Bruges.
The central Market Square has horse-drawn carriages waiting on the side of its main piazza, lined with outdoor cafés. You won’t miss its centrepiece, the Gothic bell-tower housing 48 bells. Climb all 366 steps in the tower for magnificent views from the top.
The beautiful Burg Square is the city’s historic heart. There’s the elaborate Stadhuis (town hall) and once you start wandering down its cobbled side streets, there’s a medieval sight everywhere you look.
You won’t be able to resist the world-famous chocolate made here. There’s more than 50 shops selling it in every flavour. Try chocolate infused with curry, a chilli truffle or peppermint praline. There’s even a Chocolate Museum where you can learn how Belgium manages to make it taste so good.
Bruges is also within easy reach of the First World War battlefields, cemeteries and memorials. Take a tour to the award-winning In Flanders Field Museum in Ypres, one hour away. Its human stories of the Great War in the Ypres region, expressed through songs, letters and poems, will give you an insight that is both moving and unforgettable.
After a day spent sightseeing, be ready in your best 90's gear for another evening of special guest stars!
