We act in the capacity of an agent on behalf of the Tour Operator (Provider) with whom you book your holiday. You will be subject to the Provider’s terms and conditions, and your agreement for your holiday will be with the Provider and not us. The Provider’s terms and conditions can be found on their website or in their brochure. If requested by you we can send these to you before you make your booking or with your booking confirmation. By confirming your booking you are accepting the Provider’s terms and conditions and our agency terms and conditions. We will do our best to assist you with any issues you may have with the proper performance of the contract with the Provider, however this should be taken up with the Provider directly and we will have no liability in relation to the performance of that contract. If we can’t resolve your complaint you can use ABTA’s scheme for the resolution of disputes which is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute and available from www.abta.com.

When you call us to book your holiday you can pay using your credit or debit card. We can only accept debit cards that are issued in the UK. There are no additional charges when paying by Maestro, MasterCard Debit or Visa/ Delta debit cards. A fee of 2% applies to credit card payments when using credit cards. We endeavour at all times to keep our prices as accurate as possible, and whilst our prices are updated regularly and displayed in good faith our prices should be seen as a guide only. When cruise lines offer Buy One Get One Free, Buy One Get One Half Price or 25% discount etc – these discounts have been taken into account in our pricing and the price you see is per person.
Our best deals are always online. However, should you need help; our sales team are available to assist you with your booking. All bookings made over the telephone do not incur a booking service fee and voucher codes can be used if booking over the telephone.
Low Deposit offer applies to selected new Marella cruise bookings only departing from 1st November 2018 – 31st October 2020.
Low deposits on short and mid-haul cruises are from £75pp, with a full deposit balance of £200pp. Low deposits on long-haul cruises are from £125pp, with a full deposit balance of £250pp. The full deposit will be due within 12 weeks of booking your cruise, or you will be required to pay the remainder of the total holiday cost, whichever date comes sooner depending on when you booked your holiday. If you cancel your holiday you still have to pay the full deposit. Most Provider’s restrict the items you can bring on-board which they, their agents or security staff consider pose a risk or inconvenience to the safety and security of the ship, other passengers, travellers, crew or agents without a valid lawful reason or without the prior consent of the Provider if applicable. A non-exhaustive list of prohibited items can be found here or otherwise is available on request (“Prohibited Items”).
Due to public health regulations, many Provider’s do not permit children, who are in nappies (including swim and pull-up nappies), or children who are not completely toilet trained, in any of the onboard pools. Please check with your Provider for further information.
Smoking On Ships
Most Providers prohibit smoking in certain areas of the ship, including but not limited to cabin balconies. Please check with your Provider for details of any designated smoking areas onboard.

Barbados Room Rate Levy
Following an update from the local authorities, the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) has taken the decision to impose a nightly “Room Rate Levy”
in all hotels in Barbados. This initiative will take effect from the 1st July 2018 and will be charged to customers upon checking out from their hotel.
The tax is a per room, per night levy and will vary depending on the classification rating awarded to the hotel. These classification ratings are independently decided by the BHTA. All affected customers booked to date will be notified of the levy they will need to pay, and hotel errata’s are being placed on the system with the correct amounts for future bookings.
This charge will affect all holidays booked for 1st July 2018 stays onwards.
Change to Visa Requirements for Oman for Winter 18 Asia Itineraries
We have recently been advised that the visa process for Oman has changed. All Guests who are embarking or disembarking in Muscat will now need to apply for their visas before they travel. This must be done at least one week prior to to arriving in Oman and will be valid for one month from the the date of purchase.
Visas can be bought by visiting https://evisa.rop.gov.om/en/home Customers should apply for an unsponsored visa and selct the 26A Tourist Visa which is 5 Omani Rials.
This change only impacts customers on Red Sea Voyage 1 & 2, Journey to Arabia 1 & 2 and Red Sea Odyssey 1 & 2. The errata on the itineraries will be changed to reflect the information above from Tuesday 9th October.
Customers who have already booked will receive a programme change in the next few days to notify them of the change. All current visa information can also be found on the customer FAQ section on the website, the new Oman visa requirements will be live from Tuesday the 9th October to be consistent with the change to the errata.
3rd Party Flights for Winter 2018
Over the next few days we will be offering 3rd party flights for Winter 2018 on selected Barbados and Jamaica sailings, these flights will currently only be available from Gatwick airport. Customers must check documentation and follow airlines check in procedure which may require them to check in online. All 3rd party flights will have at least the luggage allowance given to cruise customers on TUI flights (20kg hold luggage and 7kg hand luggage).
As with 3rd party flights for main beach the customers will check in/bag drop at the check-in desk for the airline they are flying with and NOT TUI check-in desks. If the customers flight is delayed or cancelled we will follow the same policy as we do for TUI flights which states “we’ll attempt to get you to the ship where possible”. Bonded luggage will not apply to cruise from the Caribbean or Dubrovnik with 3rd party flights so customers will need to collect their luggage at the luggage carousel on arrival at the airport. Currently customers luggage is tagged at the UK airport. This will not be done for 3rd party flights and will be done at the port terminal on arrival.
The normal process will still apply for transfers to and from the ship. On arrival, customers will proceed to the Marella Cruises stand in the arrivals hall. For departure, the ship will provide the transfer information to the customers cabin. Please also ensure you take note of the deposit amounts as these will be higher due to the flight element being paid in full at the time of booking.
Saunas onboard the Marella Cruises fleet are free of charge with the exception of Marella Explorer’s Champneys spa, which is chargeable from £10 per person per day.
With regards to travel arrangements taking place after March 29, the UK Government and ABTA have both issued official guidance on passenger travel to the EU by air, rail or sea after Brexit, especially if there is no Brexit deal.
From 29 March 2019, if there is no EU Exit deal, cruise and flight operations will continue on the same basis as today.
• UK departures: Passengers who embark on a cruise at a UK port will continue to be protected by the EU regulation on maritime passengers’ rights, which will be brought into UK law.
• Fly-Cruise – UK citizens can be reassured that regardless of the Brexit outcome planes will still fly between the UK and the EU. If a deal is agreed then we will be in a transition period, meaning everything will stay the same until the end of December 2020 and flights will continue as normal.
Even if there is a no-deal scenario, the European Commission has said that UK airlines will still be able to operate flights between the UK and the EU. The UK government has offered similar assurances for EU airlines.
You shouldn’t need a visa to travel to the EU after Brexit. The European Commission announced in November 2018 that, even in a no-deal scenario, UK travellers can still visit the EU without a visa, providing the same is offered to European citizens visiting the UK. The European Commission has said that from 2021, UK citizens will need to pay a fee (of around 7 Euros) for this visa exemption. This is part of a new electronic travel authorisation system applying to all third country visitors to the EU, similar to the US ESTA regime.
Check the date your passport expires. When travelling to the EU after 29 March 2019, the UK government recommends that you have six months left on your passport on the date of your arrival to an EU country.
You should also check when your passport was renewed. If you renewed a 10 year adult passport before it expired, extra months may have been added to your passport’s expiry date. These extra months over 10 years will not count towards the 6 months that must be remaining.
European Health Insurance Card
In the event of a no-deal Brexit, The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) allows any EU citizen to access state medical care when they are travelling in another EU country will no longer be valid.
We always recommend you have the appropriate travel insurance, whether you have an EHIC card or not, as there are limitations to EHIC.
Under EU rules, the cost of making calls, sending messages or using the internet on your phone in the EU is the same in the UK. If the UK leaves without a deal these rules will no longer apply – however, some UK companies have said they may continue to offer this benefit to their customers. Before you travel, check with your mobile phone provider about the costs of using your phone in the EU.
Customers who book a package holiday with ourselves will be protected under the Package Travel Regulations, meaning you have a right to a full refund if your holiday can no longer be provided.
