There is so much Greek mythology tied up with Corfu, even it’s Greek name, Kerkyra, came from Poseidon, God of the sea. Corfu has thousands of visitors every year and now there are over 10,000 foreigners who have made Corfu their home. So trust us as well as the ex-pats because we love Corfu, its a treasure trove of architecture and beautiful beaches. The choice of restaurants is also fantastic, you’ll love the outdoor seating so you can relax and watch the world go by.
Steeped in history, you have so much choice when it comes to exploring ancient Rome. You can walk for miles in this open-air museum called Rome… history buffs will thoroughly enjoy this journey and we know by experience that people return again and again. The Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and St. Peter’s Basilica are all must-dos, but there are so many more so do your research and make the most of your day in the capital of Italy.
Enjoy a sunny Mediterranean day in Ajaccio. There is lots to see and can easily be explored on foot. There are a great selection of restaurants, unusual shops and the harbour is so pretty, all you photographers will have a great time snapping away! You’ll see local artists capturing it’s beauty and charm. Don’t leave without trying a patisserie… irresistible, beautiful and a treat for your taste buds.
