Half-timbered houses, a gothic church and little cafes, Vernon is a quaint town located on the banks of the Seine River. Despite being heavily attacked in the war, this small town still retains much of its old charm with its iron shop signs and cobblestone streets. Giverny gardens are a must during your visit, these stunning greens were designed by the famous artist, Claude Monet and lead to some of his finest works to date, so as you can imagine this place is pretty special.
