Viking Spirit

About Viking Spirit

Part of a set of quadruplets first launched in 2001, Viking Spirit is a state-of-the-art ship that brings luxury and style to a small scale. With space for up to 150 cruisers and ample open decks, she ensures every jaunt to popular Viking Ocean Cruises destinations puts comfort first.

Viking Spirit’s interior was modelled by expert maritime designers Yran & Storbraaten and bears the understated elegance of modern Scandinavian design. The look and feel are orchestrated to better connect cruisers with their destinations, with a set-up that even allows direct access into many ports.

Living quarters onboard Viking Spirit start with Veranda staterooms, where balconies come as standard. These gradually get bigger all the way to Explorer Suites, which amount to mini hotels of glamourous proportions. What’s more, the fantastic range of Viking Ocean Cruises discounts on offer means that these luxurious living quarters are in everyone’s reach.

One of Viking Spirit’s top draws is the Explorer’s Lounge, which offers 180C views of the surrounding landscape, plus a full bar to make your sightseeing experience even more enjoyable. Outside you’ll find a wraparound deck made for twilight strolls. There’s also an infinity pool, plus spa treatments centred on Nordic traditions, including the icy Snow Grotto below deck. You’ll also find features like a theatre and cinemas, shops and a 24-hour coffee shop for creature comforts on the water.

Even further above the Explorer’s Lounge is the Upper Deck, where some of Viking Spirit’s dining takes place. There’s enough seating here for every cruiser onboard, including open seating so that you can dine beside whomever you like. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served here, plus a popular breakfast buffet. Then comes the Sky Deck, an open-air space laden with loungers that make enjoying the passing scenery that much easier.
