Viking Hild

About Viking Hild

You can holiday with Viking Hild along the Rhine and Moselle Rivers with cruises from Paris to the Swiss Alps or Paris to Zurich, stopping off to explore interesting highlights. You’ll be able to visit places such as the Luxembourg American Cemetery, sample delicious Moselle Riesling wines in Bernkatel-Kues and see picturesque Rheinfels Castle in the Rhine Gorge.

You can also choose to prolong your holiday either before or after your cruise with an extension tour. One option available is a pre-cruise extension of two extra nights in Paris. There’s time to explore Montmarte and the Sacre Coeur Cathedral, take a trip up the Eiffel Tower or go to see the Mona Lisa in the Louvre. You’ll have the expert services of a Viking Cruises host throughout.

While sailing onboard Viking Hild you can learn about the history of the regions you’ll be visiting, take a cookery class or enjoy a classical music performance with the Culture Curriculum® programme. Your cruise itinerary also includes 10 shore excursions with local guides to complete your cultural experience.

While sailing there are a range of facilities to enjoy onboard. These include a scented organic herb garden to relax in, a putting green where you can play a few games with your fellow cruisers and an Observation Lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows where you can socialise with a few drinks.

Delicious dining is available in the onboard restaurant with menu choices featuring regional specialities from the areas you’ll be visiting and a selection of local beers and wines to accompany your meal. In addition there is a regular selection of familiar international dishes available for you to enjoy.
