Ventura is the second largest family-friendly ship in the fleet, and has enjoyed a major refit in 2013. You can dine in 12 fantastic restaurants, attend the elegant two-deck theatre, take a dip in one of four pools or unwind in the relaxing spa, the choice is yours onboard Ventura.
Given her family orientated nature, Ventura was actually the first to offer The Reef, which is the Cruise Line featured children’s club – providing programmes for children in four age groups up to the age of 18, with dedicated areas on the same deck to make it easy and convenient for everyone.
Parents can kick back on the sunloungers by the outdoor pools. The Riviera is exclusively for adults, while the Crystal Pool is for everyone, or there’s the Terrace Pool designated for families and a Paddling pool for the kids. Whatever your specific requirements, dedicated areas offer enjoyment for all.
No matter what your tastes, you’ll find something you love in one of the many restaurants accommodating the 3,078 people onboard. The three main dining rooms are Bay Tree Restaurant, Saffron as well as Cinnamon – which are part of the Free Dining programme – giving you the exclusive opportunity to move away from tradition to eat when and where you desire. Included in this programme, but at an extra charge, are some exclusive restaurants.
Don’t worry if you like to dress up for dinner, you can take part in the black-tie evenings and enjoy some traditional-style cruising.
TV presenter and sommelier Olly Smith offers The Glass House wine bar and restaurant, where the food is a culinary delight while the wine is finely selected from the extensive cellar. Frankie’s Pizzeria and Grill is situated by the Laguna pool and is influenced by the down-to-earth chain created by Marco Pierre White and Frankie Dettori. Or for some Mediterranean fine dining head to The White Room, another Marco Pierre White creation.
