P&O Cruises are the world’s oldest cruise line and Azura, one of the largest ships in the fleet, is very family friendly. She was the first ship in the fleet to offer an outdoor cinema SeaScreen – great for gathering round to watch classics or blockbusters under a beautiful starlit sky. Alternatively, take a seat in the 800-seater Playhouse Theatre offering cabaret performances and stand-up comedy.
Or, make your way to the array of themed bars from all around the world. Stop in at the casino, a state-of-the-art, multi-functional space offering many enjoyable experiences such cooking demonstrations and music recitals.
There are plenty of food venues to choose from. Next to the casino is Brodie’s bar – a typical pub with pool tables, dartboards and giant TV screens. But this is just the tip of the iceberg, as there are over eight eateries to choose from, including the main Peninsular. Try The Oriental or The Meridian, or for select dining options at a nominal extra cost, savour a fine dining experience in the Epicurean. Satiate on a taste of India in Sindhu or go for a refined experience at The Glass House wine bar and restaurant.
Azura’s atrium provides a great array of shops – fashion, jewellery and even sweet shops. And if you’re taking the kids they can expect their very own bumper package of entertainment options including kids discos and karaoke or movie time. Many of the events are fully supervised to free you up to enjoy some of the adult activities on this great ship.
