Aurora is a handsome ship with a distinctive tiered stern, which echoes the lavish Lalique-themed waterfall at the centre of her atrium. Designed to appeal to avid walkers and joggers, Aurora's wide teak promenade deck provides the perfect space to keep in shape between ports.

About Aurora

Once the morning run is complete, there is a good selection of places to eat to choose from. As well as two large informal restaurants and Café Bordeaux, you’ll find a Marco Pierre White bistro and an open-air grill restaurant. Keeping the kids entertained and happy is easy with the Playhouse cinema and the fun activities provided at the onboard Jumping Jacks children’s club. In the evenings, qualified childcare provision can be arranged through the Night Nursery.

There’s also plenty to do for the adults in the family. You can catch up on the latest sporting events in The Champions sports bar, have a flutter in the casino, or linger in the wood-panelled sophistication of Anderson’s bar. Try a spa treatment, take a leisurely swim in the Terrace pool or luxuriate in the whirlpool. You can watch the most recent film releases, take in an evening show, or enjoy a theatre performance in the evenings at the Playhouse cinema.

In addition to films, The Playhouse is also the venue for classical recitals, lectures, port enhancement talks, and much more.

The Crow's Nest

High up on Sun Deck at the forward end of the ship you will find The Crow's Nest.

At 105 feet above the waterline, this stylish cocktail bar is higher than the bridge and affords the ship's most amazing views.

By day you can watch the glistening sea as the world floats by in this comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. But as evening draws in The Crow's Nest comes into its own; with a light tickling of the ivories to set the mood, there's no better vantage point from which to enjoy a dramatic sunset at sea.

Nestled on Promenade Deck, is Champions sports bar.

With a modern look and high-tech feel, the bar is full of memorabilia from great sporting moments. You can watch major sporting events, both live and recorded, on large TV screens, and enjoy a beer and a chat with other sports-minded guests. If you're a sports fanatic - you'll love Champions!

The bar is named after Arthur Anderson, the founder of P&O, who is said to have had an amazing attention to detail.
