All Inclusive is standard onboard Marella Discovery 2 and that means you have five restaurants available to you at no extra charge! Catering for every mood, no matter if you fancy a sit down three course treat or a quick grab and go snack.

Deck 4
Marella Discovery 2’s main dining room. This beautiful venue has been designed with the sea and sand in mind, boasting a calming colour pallet and dreamy sea views thanks to its amazing floor to ceiling windows. You’ll be wined and dined with a three course affair at dinner; whist breakfast offers an express option and lunch menus change each day on a 14 day cycle. – Cuisine is traditional with a modern twist and with an “Anytime Favourites” menu you’ll not struggle to find something to eat here!

Deck 5
Up the grand staircase from 47° below, this stunning restaurant has the same light and airy feel with added glitz. First established on Marella Discovery, this restaurant carries over the popularly requested Italian dining! Along from Gallery 47, you’ll find broad street shops and Venue, one of Marella Discovery 2’s standout bars! Have a perfect evening with a delicious Italian followed by a night of family-focused game shows or performances from virtual bands.

Snack Shack

Deck 9
The loveliest alfresco dining spot! Found on deck 9 along with the ships’ pool area. Snack Shack is ideal for informal and impromptu dining. Designed off the basis of Brighton’s famous seaside beach huts, Snack Shack is bright and airy and focuses on grab and go bites. If you find Islands buffet too busy, Snack Shack is open for both breakfast and dinner and is usually a little quieter! Perfect for light snacks which you can choose to takeaway or eat at its picnic styled tables. Pass by before you go out on excursion and take full advantage of pre-packaged sandwiches, wraps and ready-made salads to have on the go later.

Islands

Deck 9
Islands is Discovery 2’s main big buffet area! Complete with show-cooking stations for your breakfast omelettes or delicious evening carvery’s. Islands is open the majority of the day, providing everything from early breakfasts and your three main meals, as well as a British favourite of afternoon tea! Islands is as relaxed as the deck in which it is found. Chill by the pool, get pampered in the spa or even go for a workout at the gym before coming here to appease your appetite. Islands has a come as you please policy. No need to stick to reservations, just arrive at a time most convenient to your days plans.

The Glass House

Deck 9
Light, airy, surrounded by greenery, The Glass House has a beautifully relaxed aesthetic with gorgeous sea views and lots of natural light. Located by the second pool on Deck 9, The Glass House has a glass retractable roof and offers a quieter alternative to the decks main pool and Snack Shack. – Especially come 2pm when the pool becomes adult only! Tables are set close to the windows to give you the best views whilst dining. Open 11-6 for deli-style food, you can help yourself to sandwiches, rolls and salads. From 6:30pm onward, The Glass House transforms into a stunning evening venue. Opt from a choice of tapas, pizzas or sharing platters whilst surround by attractive lighting and the peaceful ambience of the pool. The best part – you can even cook your own steak on sizzling hot stones! This has an additional charge, however adds a true sense of fun to your dining experience and means you can cook your food exactly to your liking!

Sushi bar

Deck 11
Marella Discovery 2’s Asian temptation, located to one side of Kora La, you can enjoy delicious salmon, seabass and tuna based sushi along with complimentary far eastern beers! You can have up to eight pieces of yummy sushi for one overall cost. Its open from 6:30-9:30pm and reservations are needed.

Kora La

Deck 11
This Pan-Asian restaurant boasts delicious cuisine and unbelievable views. Positioned on top deck, it has a stunning vantage point across the entire main deck and all the way out to sea. The restaurant is open between 18:30 and 21:30 and reservations are needed. – Our biggest tip here, ask for a table around sunset, those views we mentioned are at their best then! With dark wood furniture, muted carpets and beautiful wall murals, the ambiance is suitably Asian, but of course the food is your main calling here! Boasting a menu developed by chef Ian Pengelly, who established London's House of Ho, you are offered four choices for each course; starter, main, speciality curry and dessert. From popcorn prawns and watermelon and duck salad to shaking beef or bok choy, Kora La is defiantly worth a visit! Experience an explosion of flavour and leave wanting more.

Surf & Turf Steakhouse

Exactly as it says on the tin, Surf & Turf Steakhouse specialises in all things meat and fish! As well as having plenty to satisfy those preferring a vegetarian option. Its long list of sumptuous starters may draw you in but the main star of the show here is the restaurants 28-day aged 32oz Tomahawk steaks and its signature half lobster tail! Low wooden ceilings and shuttered windows provide a more intimate feel, and a mix of table settings ensure you find the perfect spot for your party. From big circle tables to smaller set ups for two, you’ll be surrounded by understated quality and amazed by the crews attentive service.
