If you’re really into your drinks, you can opt to upgrade to the Premium All Inclusive package for £60 per person. With this, you’ll get a range of upgraded bottles of wine &c champagne (although not by the glass). You’ll also be able to have premium gins and vodkas, such as Absolut Vodka and Bombay Sapphire. All drinks from the Coffee Port are also included with this option too – perfect if you like your lattes!
If you do like a drink, you may find worth in upgrading to the Premium drinks package! For just an extra £50 per person you will get a range of upgraded cocktails which includes those with a champagne base!

The dress code onboard Marella Celebration is pretty easy to follow – it’s split into three categories - Beachwear, Casual and
The first is a ‘come as you are’ affair, so bikinis and trunks get the thumbs up, plus we ask that you wear something on your feet for safety reasons.
Meanwhile, Casual speaks for itself – we’re talking tops and shorts or a sundress.
Then you’ve got Smart, which is when you’ll need to dress up a bit. Put your sports or swimwear away, and opt for trousers, smart tailored
shorts or a skirt or dress, a shirt or polo shirt and smart shoes, so no trainers or flip flops. If you want to add a jacket or tie, that’s up to you.

Yes! You’ll be able to gain internet access in specifically designated Wi-Di cones onboard Marella Celebration. Whether that be to post a simple check in on Facebook to update those back home on your travels or perhaps you need to catch up on some emails – there’s no worries about being able to do either.
Internet access is chargeable, you can find the costs of this at Reception and any time used will be added to your onboard account.
You can smoke onboard Marella Celebration, however only in designated smoking areas. These are usually out on open deck, if you’re unsure just ask a member of staff onboard and they’ll direct you to your nearest point.
The rules apply to both cigarettes and e-cigarettes. If it is an e-cigarette you are using, you need also be aware of further restrictions concerning these devices within certain countries. In the UAE, Thailand and Singapore, e-cigarettes will be confiscated from you at the airport.
Yes, of course! If you would like to reserve a particular cabin – just book your cruise as normal and then once you’ve decided where abouts on the ship you’d like to be, give us a call to let us know!
This can be done up to 15 days before your cruise departs, but if you’re after a certain cabin it’s always best to secure this sooner rather than later! – This comes at a cost of just £48 and well worth it if you’d like to be close to certain amenities of have a cabin on a particular level deck.
If you’re not so bothered which cabin you get assigned too, one of your booked cabin types will be selected at random.
Yes of course. If you do have any dietary requirements please mention them at the time of your booking. You can then also let the restaurant manager know once on board so they can make sure meals are planned accordingly for you.
Marella Cruises provide vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free and diabetic friendly options on request. You’ll find dishes labelled accordingly, however if you’re after vegan options please double check with the chefs as up to now main dishes are only listed as vegetarian.
There is no need to carry loads of cash around with you once onboard. A ship account will be opened for you and any extra onboard purchases will simply be charged to your account!
This includes any extra dining costs for any speciality restraurants, deciding to upgrade to the Premium Drinks Package or if you use the Wi-Fi.
You can keep ontop of your spends by viewing your account balance at reception or even on the ships own smartphone app! You’ll settle your account at reception on the day you depart the ship.
Yes! That’s another great thing about Marella Cruises, cruising is kept simple and everything is all sorted for you. You’ll be picked up direct from the airport, just look out for those TUI smile logos!
No, Marella Cruises include extra in their pricing for gratuity, this means you’ve already tipped the crew within the price of your cruise. However if you would like to tip any members of staff a little extra whilst onboard, then that’s fine too.
No, unless you require one to take with you off the ship. Marella Cruises are happy to provide you with all towels, that’s those for showering as well as beach towels to use round the pool areas.
Yes! To use the plug sockets in your cabin, you’ll need either a European or US 2-pin adaptor plug. However if you do forget, don’t worry – these are available to purchase in the onboard shop!
You may also wish to pack an extension lead. Most cabins onboard will only have 2 power outlets, if you feel you’ll require more than this use at one time – an extension lead can be handy to bring along!
Marella Cruises absolutely do! If you’re looking to book a cruise you can give the Customer Welfare Team a call before you book. This way you can get advise on the accessibility of the ship and if you need to bring any equipment onboard with you! – They’ll also discuss all disabled facilities and medical care, so you can decide if everything will be sufficient before you go ahead with a booking.
All Marella Cruises ships have a small number of adapted cabins for those less mobile. It’s best to check if one of these are defiantly available before you book!
It’s not always possible to tie a ship right up at a dock. When this isn’t Marella Cruises will achor a little way out from the shore and use tender boats to get you to and from the ship.
You’ll still get lots of time onshore so do not worry! Plus you can go back and forth as many times as you like.
However, any guests which have mobility issues may or may not be able to use the tender. You will need to have some independent mobility to step in and out of the tender boat. Marella Cruises crew aren’t allowed to physically lift you in. Please bare this in mind when choosing your itinerary, all ports with tenders will be marked accordingly.
Yes! Even if you’re cruise sails straight out of the UK, you’ll need your passport to board the ship. It’s a compulsory element and without it you’ll be denied boarding.
Cruising is such a good way to travel for anyone that’s heading off on their own! Marella Celebration has its very own Social Hostess onboard – they’ll be in charge of organising all special events and meet ups specific for all solo cruises that are onboard. You’ll make friends in no time!
You can book your very own Single Cabin too, so you can be perfectly comfortable during your stay! Many of the Single Cabins are usually located near to each other also, so you’ll soon be recognising your fellow neighbouts who are also traveling solo.
We know dining can be a biggy for most people. For those who do not wish to eat alone, there are a variety of table arrangements in each restaurant. You can choose to dine with new people every night if you so wish! Or perhaps you and a few fellow singles can plan to meet up together.
There are also tables set for 2 for those who wish to keep themselves to themselves.
Yes there is. The Medical Centre onboard Marella Celebration is found on Deck 3. If you ever require this service, you’ll be met by an English speaking doctor and a team of nurses! These will be available to see you between 8-10am and 5-6:30pm, however in an emergency you can still call 999!
You will be unable to book shore excursions until you’ve booked your cruise, so make sure to do that first!
Then once that’s all sorted, take a look at the types of excursions you can do in your destinations. Narrowed it down? Great! Simply give us a call when you know which excursions you are interested in and we’ll get it all booked up for you! Excursions can also be booked online.
Alternatively you can wait until you’re onboard Marella Celebration and visit Destination Services – you’ll find this on Deck 5.
The staff here will be able to provide you with handy guides if you wish to go it alone or they can book you onto one of the pre-planned Marella Cruises excursions.
On your last day, you’ll normally need to leave your cabin by 8am but you can still use all of the onboard facilities until your transfer arrives to take you to the airport!
You can speak to Reception about booking a courtesy cabin so you’re able to freshen up before you leave, or you can try organise a later check out!
