Introducing MS Marco Polo

Cruising onboard Marco Polo - whether around the Polar regions or on a Transatlantic cruise - is always a luxury experience. Admire the coastal views of North America or Scandinavia, while enjoying a meal in one of the ship’s many exquisite restaurants.

About MS Marco Polo

For contrasting dining experiences there’s a bistro and buffet, keeping you satisfied – whether it’s fine dining or a more casual service you’re after. Once you’ve had your fill, Marco Polo boasts multiple lounges and bars with a varied menu of cocktails, spirits, wines, champagnes and beers, delivered to you in style by skilled barmen.

You’ll be sailing alongside a smaller group of 800 other guests, receiving luxury service from 400 staff members. Cabins onboard Marco Polo are a cosy luxury, hosting ensuite bathrooms for privacy and comfort.

All rooms have the added bonus of a dressing table, drawer and wardrobe space, and a selection of electronics- including a TV, telephone and music console, with a lockable safe for valuables. Moreover, 70% of the cabins on Marco Polo have an ocean view.

Cooling off by taking a dip in one of the pools or hot tubs, or you could soak up the summer sun on a poolside deck chair.

If you fancy working up a sweat instead, the fitness and wellness centres give you the opportunity to exercise and workout in style. Or if you prefer a more relaxed approach, head for a massage with one of Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ specialist masseuses. You’ll come home feeling, refreshed and rejuvenated.

Marco Polo Lounge

After dinner the show team would enjoy the pleasure of your company in the comfortable theatre-style Marco Polo Lounge as their artists display their talents in a snappily choreographed revue or colourful floorshow – all you need to do is just sit back and enjoy.

Following the great success of many guest acts from the field of comedy Cruise & Maritime Voyages have launched ‘A Laugh on the Ocean Waves’ where, on selected cruises, you are invited to enjoy the talents of one of their guest comedians. Laughter is the best medicine so enjoy the talents of their comedy acts with their dedicated evening shows, hear them talk about their life experience and listen to their Comedy Corner interviews with the Cruise Director.

Boutiques

Browse through the shopping arcade and photo gallery for a few memories to take home of your time onboard Marco Polo.

A Wi-Fi system is available on Magellan Deck whereby there is a Wireless Hotspot access point in the Reception area and close to the lounges. Charges vary dependent on whether you choose to ‘pay as you go’ or purchase a package of so many minutes worth of connection time. This service is dependent on the ship’s satellite link and in areas such as the Fjords transmission is very intermittent.

After a brief sign-up session you are then put in touch with other passengers who share the same interests, allowing you to make the most of your time aboard. It’s never forced – just helpful.

Beautifully appointed, the Jade Wellness Centre is perfect if you want a spot of relaxation. If you want something more active the swimming pool is a great place to start, especially as it has fantastic views overlooking the ocean.

Hair & Beauty

Hair styling for ladies and gentlemen, manicure, pedicure and a variety of relaxing massage therapies are available on board at the Jade Wellness Centre. It is recommended to book your appointments early to avoid disappointment. Meet the experienced personal for a complimentary consultation to select the services most suites to you. A list of services can be found in your cabin, opening hours are noted in the Daily Programme. All services are charged to your on board account.

Fitness Centre

There is an attractive Fitness Centre located on Columbus Deck, which offers a range of exercise machines and has nearby Sauna and Massage rooms. Passengers should take great care when utilising the various pieces of equipment, as participation is entirely at their own risk.
