Cruise specialists Royal Caribbean have just announced their long-awaited European itineraries for the newest ship in their fleet, the Anthem of the Seas.
The cruise giant already broke the news that the Anthem would be sailing from Southampton in 2015, but the new sailing routes reveal that this 4180-passenger ship will cover highlights in France, Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands on its way round the sunny Mediterranean.
One of three new ‘Quantum Class’ cruise ships – which also includes the Quantum of the Seas set to launch this November – the Anthem of the Seas is currently under construction but will be available for advanced bookings for Crown & Anchor Society members later this month. Cabins can be reserved by all cruise-goers from 3rd March.
Fans of cruising will not be disappointed by the facilities and entertainment offered on board the Anthem of the Seas. Families can enjoy all the fun of the fair – at sea! – with the Bumper Cars, try their hand at sky-diving with RipCord, or see the ship from a whole new angle on the glass-walled North Star ride, inspired by the London Eye.
In addition, all kinds of evening entertainment are lined up for the massive Two70 and Music Hall venues; expect live music and jaw-dropping cabaret acts. Even the accommodation will offer something fresh, with ‘virtual balconies’ for interior cabins that allow you to watch the waves go by, wherever you’re staying!
The Anthem of the Seas’ European trips range from 3-night tours of Paris and Bruges, to 16-night itineraries covering the best of the Spanish and French Rivieras. The ship will then take a repositioning voyage to the Caribbean, where guests can enjoy the sights of Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.
