We knew 2015 would be huge for two of our biggest cruise lines, P&O Cruises and Cunard, and today we’re finally able to share the good news with everyone, as the cruising heavyweights reveal their full itineraries for next year!

Cunard will be commemorating their 175th anniversary with a series of Transatlantic crossings, as well as a selection of dazzling new Mediterranean ports, from the north coast of Africa to the Dalmatian shores of Croatia. Meanwhile, the vast P&O Cruises’ ship Britannia will be taking to the high seas for the first time from Southampton, boasting planned stops around our very own British Isles. So what more can we expect from these exciting 2015 cruise itineraries?

Cunard’s 2015 voyages

Diversifying their programme for the new year, Cunard are enticing first-timers by extending their range of itineraries from 2-night taster voyages right the way up to 24 nights for some of their Caribbean journeys.

The cruise specialists are planning to visit a total of 96 destinations, 7 of which are maiden ports. So if you fancy taking in the exotic shores of Tangiers in Morocco or exploring the art galleries of Florence on a stop-over from the beautiful harbour city La Spezia, take a look at Cunard’s 2015 programme here!

There will be plenty to celebrate too, as Cunard marks its anniversary  with special events in Liverpool and various sailings throughout May, with the Queen Mary 2 criss-crossing the Atlantic until December and offering both single and roundtrip options.

The new Cunard itineraries go on general sale from April 8. Pricing starts from just £299 for a 3-night cruise, with a Mediterranean fly cruise coming in at £1049 per person for 7 nights, including flights.

P&O Cruises come home for 2015

It’s all about good old Great Britain for P&O Cruises next year, as the Britannia enjoys her maiden season and the other ships in the fleet take lucky guests to parts of the UK. Meanwhile further-flung destinations include those that have rarely been cruised before!

Debut calls will be made at Highland port Fort William as part of the Britannia’s British offering, while historic fortress town Fredrikstad in Norway will receive P&O Cruises’ passengers for the first time ever. In fact, Scandinavia features widely on P&O Cruises’ varied programme, with more unusual itineraries to the Baltics and Iceland set to be popular in 2015.

Elsewhere in warmer climes, the glorious Rivieras of the Western Mediterranean will feature on the Oceana’s route, with the glamour of Monte Carlo and new evening calls in Dubrovnik to look forward to. Seasoned cruise-goers might like to set sail for up to 35 days with P&O Cruises, taking in the likes of New Orleans and traversing the historic Panama Canal.
