Exciting news for all you gin lovers out there! Gin is so on trend right now – so much so that P&O Cruises has even snapped up a piece of the market!
P&O Cruises are raising a glass to celebrate 180 years of P&O history and have launched their first ever exclusive blended gin. Could this be the tipple you’ve been waiting for? Say hello to Anderson’s Gin – named after the cruise line’s co-founder, Arthur Anderson.
Anderson’s has been exclusively handcrafted by the cruise lines in-house team and distilled at the award winning Summerhall Distillery in Edinburgh. With botanicals sourced from all over the world, Anderson’s Gin reflects a global gin that has a truly distinctive British flair. Just a single sip will have you whisked away to far-flung places, fragranced with the aromas of Eastern spice, with sharp Mediterranean citrus flavours and a mouth-watering spicy, dry, lingering finish.
The bottle designed is inspired by traditional nautical charts and if you look close enough, you’ll spot Arthur Anderson’s silhouette. To further celebrate Anderson’s Gin, two new cocktails will be available onboard, Anderson’s Discovery and Arthur’s Summer Punch, both mixed with Fever-Tree Tonic Water. These are must try gin delights – you’re only worry should be which one you need to try first!
