Hot of the press Thomson Cruises have announced today that they will be adding another ship to the fleet in 2017, with the purchase of Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas. She will become the sister ship to TUI Discovery and will be aptly named TUI Discovery 2, she will be due to launch in May 2017.
This comes as the plans for Thomson Cruises fleet to expand and modernise come into place. There will be four ships over the next four years, with Mein Schiff 1 and Mein Schiff 2 joining the fleet in 2018 and 2019 respectively. So Thomson Cruise fans have a lot look forward, as more ships, means more cruising!
When can you book?
You won’t have to wait long – you will be able to book your cruise holiday on TUI Discovery 2 from July 2016. So watch out for all the upcoming deals for TUI Discovery 2 on our website.
What you can look forward to onboard TUI Discovery 2
She will become Thomson Cruises second largest ship in the fleet holding 1,832 guests, with 915 cabins, and 40% with balconies. Plus, you will be spoilt for choice with six bars, All Inclusive dining options and exciting onboard activities.
In the meantime you have TUI Discovery to welcome into the fleet. Her maiden voyage will take place on 11th June 2016 sailing from Palma, Majorca on a 7-night Magic of Spain cruise.
