Who wants to spend their holiday in a cramped cabin? If your idea of cruising is a room that’s so small you can’t even swing a cat*, then you simply must have a look around some of the luxurious staterooms that luxury cruise lines, such as Azamara Club Cruises, Seabourn and Oceania Cruises, have to offer. We promise you that it will change your perception of cruising forever!
Forget tiny beds and small portholes – this is the way that cruises are meant to be. Read on to discover the truly opulent rooms you could be staying in on your next cruise holiday…
Azamara Club Cruises
The boutique arm of Royal Caribbean International, Azamara, specialises in luxury cruising. Both Azamara Club Cruises’ mid-sized ships are rated with 5 stars – and it’s not hard to see why. The luxurious staterooms come with everything you would expect from a hotel on land, as well as a couple of thoughtful extras.
The staterooms in themselves are tastefully decorated, and have everything you’ll need for a relaxing stay, including freshly cut flowers, a welcome fruit basket and special treats at turndown.
However, if you upgrade to the luxury suite, you will have a Triple S trained butler at your beck and call 24 hours a day! Not only will they deliver any room service you require, or help you arrange any in-suite treatments you would like, they will also unpack and pack your luggage at the beginning and end of your holiday.
Seabourn ships pride themselves on the ample size of their rooms, which are at least 227 square feet and offer stunning sea views. Each suite has a luxuriously comfortable bed, dressed in the finest Egyptian cotton, with feather down duvet and pillows.
You’ll also be able to take advantage of the services from your personal suite stewardess, who can cater to your every need, such as assisting you with special requests that include running you an indulgent bath with bath products from upmarket body care brand Molton Brown.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises
If your room absolutely must come with a sea view, then book a suite on board a Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ ship. All of their suites have ocean views, and the vast majority also come with a private balcony. Ladies will love the walk-in wardrobe included inside most suites, as well as the luxurious marble-floored bathroom, which has a lovely relaxing tub or shower.
Wash the stresses of your everyday life away with the gorgeous L’Occitane products, included in the room as standard. Finally, relax on the king-size bed wearing plush bathrobes and slippers, and plan an adventure for your next port of call.
