For amazing beach views, dreamy drinks and tasty food, look no further than Sunset Beach Bar. Located right on Las Canteras Beach, you’ll be treated to mesmerising views no matter what time of day you visit.

There really is something for everyone on the menu here too, with fresh seafood options including lobster risotto, garlic shrimp and sumptuous salmon in a leek sauce. You’ve got a delicious choice of pizza and pasta, as well as a selection of small plates so you can try out a few different things at once. They never disappoint on presentation either – your food always looks as good as it tastes.

The cocktail menu is off the scale too, with their famous Piña Coladas and G&Ts being known as some of the best in the city.

This beachfront bar has cruisers returning year after year thanks to its friendly service, fabulous location and their reasonably-priced food and drinks. A must-visit on your day in Las Palmas, even if it’s just for a drink!

Summum Del Reina Isabel

If it’s fine dining you’re after, it’s been said that Summum Del Reina Isabel is one of the best establishments on the whole island. But before we even get onto the food, it’s worth noting that the views you’ll get at this restaurant are one thing and one thing only – utterly breathtaking.

Perched high up and overlooking the long stretch of Las Canteras beach, it’s impossible to feel like you’re anywhere other than paradise – whether you’re gazing down at shimmering turquoise waters during the day or basking in the orange glow of the sunset on an evening, you really will feel on top of the world.

The food here is just as impressive – we’re talking seven-course extravaganzas featuring delicious Ceviche, Ahi Tuna slices, perfectly-cooked steaks and a dessert menu that’ll soothe that sweet tooth instantly. Wine lovers will also be in their element – there’s over 300 to choose from! The elegant decor here compliments every dish served, with presentation being of the utmost importance.

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion during your cruise or you simply feel like a treat – Summum Del Reina Isabel is the perfect choice for a pretty perfect meal.

Camino al Jamonal

Want to get a taste of authentic Canarian cuisine? Look no further than Camino al Jamonal. This small establishment is big on hearty flavours, specialising in ham and pork dishes but serving up a variety of local favourites too.

The menu here is all in Spanish, so brush up on your Spanish beforehand or ask for a little help from one of the waiters. The staff speak limited English too however, so sometimes you’re best off leaving your meal choices in the hands of the chefs and letting them surprise you with their most flavoursome dishes!

You’ll be treat like regulars from the moment you step inside – in an area where they are naturally more touristy eateries, this little gem is a genuine reflection of Canarian cuisine and culture at its very best. It’s also great value for money, as well as using locally-sourced produce resulting in fantastic quality and flavour.

It’s best to ring up and make a reservation in advance – it’s a small place and gets full very quickly!

Located at the south end of Las Canteras beach, you can stop-off here for your favourite tipple after a stroll or sunbathe on the beach. It’s right near the mall too, making it great for a post-shopping drink to refresh and relax. Watch the ocean come back and forth, the surfers riding the waves or even a good old bit of people watching.

You’ll love soaking up the ambiance on the large outdoor terrace, and their selection of cocktails means there’s something for everyone on the menu. They also serve a tasty range of snacks too, from club sandwiches and nachos to a selection of cheeses, nuts and olives.
