Prior to Discovery this was Thomson's biggest ship and was 30% more spacious than most other ships in its class. And not only does it give you more room, it’s more stylish, too. Take the cabins, for example. Now its the second biggest in the fleet and has all the hallmarks of a classic Thomson ship. That means large bars made for mingling and cosy corners perfect for a nightcap. Plus, there are four restaurants offering everything from 24-hour buffets to tasty à la carte dishes. As for extras, you’ll find two swimming pools, including one which has a retractable roof. Last but not least is the theatre. Spread over two storeys, with a mix of chairs, booths and seats for two, it’s like a little slice of the West End at sea.

The latest addition to the Thomson Cruises fleet, Thomson Majesty is every bit as impressive as our other ships. Cabins are modern and well-dressed, and every outside cabin comes with a picture window. Thomson Majesty also plays host to five restaurants and the full range of bars and entertainment venues – think stylish piano bars and lounges that bring you the best in entertainment. Another of the ship’s standout features is its spa. With two saunas and seven themed treatment rooms – including a couples’ massage room – it’s the ultimate relaxation zone.

Amazing Entertainment

Cruising and entertainment go hand in hand – especially on a Thomson cruise. Pools, spas and gyms are only part of the story – the choice of things to do onboard is never ending.

You can sign up for a wine tasting session, log onto the web in our internet room or try something a little less ordinary at a cocktail making class. Look out for our ‘An Audience With’ dates, too, where you’ll get the lowdown on showbiz life from famous personalities like Wayne Sleep, Sarah Kennedy and Geoff Hurst. And if you’re sailing Transatlantic with us, you can sign up for Live The Dream workshops on selected cruises, including writing lessons with a best-selling author and painting classes with a professional artist.

The fun doesn’t stop after dark. Try your luck with a game of Blackjack in the plush casino or give your brain a workout at one of our fun trivia quizzes. You can also look forward to musical performances and laugh-a-minute comedy in the Crew Talent Show and watch West End-style productions in the show lounge. And then there are all the bars to think about.

Family Cruises

We excel when it comes to entertaining our younger guests, too, with a great mix of activities for tots to teens. Three to 12-year-olds can spend their days onboard at the free Thomson Kids’ Club, getting messy with arts and crafts, playing dress-up at superhero-themed parties, and searching the ship for hidden treasure. Teens, meanwhile, will love our Nintendo Wii competitions, hanging out in the games arcade and hitting the Sports Deck, on selected ships.

But it doesn’t stop there. Meet and greets with Thomson The Dog, behind-the-scenes backstage tours and a special farewell breakfast are part of the line-up, too. And evenings are just as action-packed with talent shows, mini discos and pyjama parties, plus shows and quizzes for the whole family to enjoy.

Fantastic Dining

As for food, our chefs will take you on a culinary tour de force. The dining set up means you can eat your way around the world without leaving the ship. All our ships have at least 3 restaurants, which serve everything from oven-fired pizza to roast beef. And their menus change every day, so you’ll never sit down to the same menu twice.

No matter which ship you’re on, you can sit down to a formal 5-course dinner every evening. Or for something really special, you can pay a bit more to dine in your ship’s flagship à la carte restaurant. Don’t feel like dressing up for dinner? No problem, you’ll find plenty of laid-back dining choices like buffets and snacks on deck. As for little ones, there are lots of child-friendly food options on our ships, as well as treats like pizza and chips.
